Why We Grade
Once we've analyzed the franchise systems in our Index, we assign elementary grades to their individual performance attributes. This gives you the information you need to make objective comparisons between the options you have in front of you, as you research the brands you’re interested in.
The internet is loaded with websites that give you quick glances of their "top" franchise systems with a numerically scored ranking of some sort. But in our experiences with franchise buyers, we know it’s impossible to make objective choices based on a numbered list. Because in doing so, people tend to overlook hidden opportunities. By displaying the results of our research in the form of alphabetical grades, we make it easier for you to make truly informed decisions, instead of just educated guesses.
